Working Principle of Hydraulic Pusher Centrifuge
Feed Introduction: The slurry or suspension enters the centrifuge through a feed pipe and distributes it evenly inside the rotating drum.
Centrifugal Separation: The drum rotates at high speed, creating centrifugal force. This force drives heavier solids towards the inner wall of the drum, forming a cake layer.
Hydraulic Pusher Action: As the cake layer thickness reaches a set limit, a hydraulic piston or pusher mechanism engages. It pushes the accumulated solids continuously toward the discharge ports.
Liquid Discharge: The separated liquid (center) exits the centrifuge through outlets while the solids are discharged through the hydraulic pusher system.
